The 14-Day Conquer the Conversation programme is designed to transform the way you approach these conversations – moving from overwhelm and avoidance to clarity, calm, and confidence.

This is not a generic communication session. It is a personalised, intensive programme tailored to you and the conversation you need to have. Available both online and in person, it includes a structured half-day of coaching followed by two weeks of ongoing support, with a final debrief once your conversation has taken place.

What is NABERS UK?

NABERS UK is a rating system for the energy efficiency of office buildings across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Unlike other UK schemes such as EPCs or BREEAM, NABERS UK combines the actual energy consumption of commercial offices with other parameters such as area and operating hours. This results in a rating from 1 star (inefficient) to 6 stars (market leading efficiency), which in turn allows for true apples-for-apples energy performance comparisons between properties.

To ensure scheme integrity, NABERS UK is administered by BRE and ratings can only be performed by NABERS UK certified assessors.

Our experience

Technik were licensed for NABERS UK as of October 2022. Our management team has performed over 50 NABERS Australia ratings from 2012 through 2015. The rules have changed little over the past decade but the methodology is near-identical between NABERS Australia and NABERS UK.

The team have exclusively managed the rating and submission process for Charter Hall from 2012 through 2015. This involved approximately 25 ratings per year with circa 5-6 assessors. They identified building rating “weak” points and worked with Charter Hall to rectify, improving ratings at no to low cost. They also implemented a series of documentation collation processes to streamline annual data collection.

Practise in Real Time
We simulate the conversation in a safe and supportive space. Through guided role-play and feedback, you will practise saying the words out loud, explore possible responses, and build real confidence for when the time comes.

Draw on 25 Years of Experience
With over two decades of clinical and coaching experience in complex family dynamics, divorce, and conflict resolution, I will guide you not only on what to say, but how to think through the psychologies, intentions and likely emotional patterns at play.

Being experienced with both the NABERS process as well as large and varied commercial portfolios, Technik can provide the following:

Energy Auditing

Technik are experienced at designing, controlling and optimising the built environment. We understand the difficulties associated with minimising our energy and carbon footprints in the ongoing pursuit of a more comfortable built environment. With our experience in new technology implementation, engineering design, and built environment auditing, we believe we have the foundations to provide impact Energy Audits for a variety of built environments.

Our personnel have operated within the energy optimisation sector of the built environment for over a decade.

We focus on collecting live site data to identify energy optimisation initiatives and utilising empirical data to support theoretical calculations. We are data agnostic and will collect any and all relevant data from site in our pursuit to identify energy optimisation initiatives, and more importantly, validate these initiatives once enacted.

We have a broad skill set that builds upwards from on-site asset specification and installation, through to systems infrastructure design and BMS programming, and on onwards to high level reporting for schemes such as ESOS and SECR. This experience allows us to identify more feasible energy initiatives from the start, with less time spent pursuing non-viable initiatives.
